Abbeywood Community School

e-learning (remote, blended & home learning)

Please do not hesitate to make contact with peter.smart@abbeywoodschool.com or verbally via the school switchboard should your child require support with any aspect of E-learning (also referred to as ‘remote’, ‘blended’ or ,’home’ learning)

We are keen to support you and your child in any way possible in accessing their learning from home.  This may be through advice about passwords, software, accessing the internet/on-line resources or e-safety.

All students should be able to access learning in every subject.  We are currently prioritising vulnerable students and those in receipt of the Pupil Premium with support in accessing E-learning.  If you have already made contact with Abbeywood (via any route) about E-learning your query would have reached me and will actioned.

If your child is in receipt of free school meals and you do not have access to Wi-Fi at home (i.e. reliant on mobile internet) you may be eligible for support with a fixed signal.  If this is the case, please get in touch with peter.smart@abbeywoodschool.com (or via the switchboard).
