Wildlife Awareness day & Dog show - 2nd April
Wildlife Awareness day 2nd April: We are delighted to announce that our Zeus House Captains will be hosting a Wildlife Awareness Day on Thursday 2nd April for all students in Year 7-10. This special event is designed to educate and inspire students about the importance of protecting wildlife and caring for our environment.
What’s happening on the day?
- Tutor Time Activity: Students will take part in a fun, wildlife-themed competition to kick off the day
- Assemblies: Each year group (Years 7–10) will attend a 45-minute assembly led by an external speaker (subject to confirmation), focusing on the importance of wildlife conservation.
- Lunchtime Competition: Zeus House Captains will be leading a wildlife‑themed lunchtime competition for the whole school.
- After-School Event – ACS Dog Show: Students will have the opportunity to showcase their dog in a fun and safe environment. Each House will be able to have five entries into the competition. Please see the application form below.

We welcome families to attend with non-competing dogs to enjoy the event. There is no entry fee. Due to parking restrictions, we ask that you walk to the event where possible, as spaces on site are limited. Access to the site will be limited due to some students still being in lessons for period 6.
Please be mindful that this is our first event, and if it is successful, we hope to see it grow in the future.
