STEM Roadshow 2025
Abbeywood Community School Careers Team are proudly working in collaboration with BAE Systems, The Royal Air Force, and The Royal Navy to deliver an engaging theatre roadshow to year 7 and year 8 celebrating STEM across Britain.
Aligned to the National Curriculum, this fully funded offering includes a 50-minute performance to inspire and engage our students, and digital resources to support teachers develop lessons in the classroom.
The theme of the 2025 show is Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence is already making a tremendous impact across the globe. The presentation introduces the topic of Artificial intelligence as a tool that can be embraced with just as much gusto as Google was 5 years ago. The Roadshow demonstrates some useful applications of AI for both teachers and pupils and stresses how important human skills are to ensure that we can maximise the effect of Artificial Intelligence in our lives.
The roadshow team will demonstrate some already well-established tools and illustrate how to spot deep fakes and other dangers surrounding AI. It is a show full of surprises and insight that is designed to promulgate the safe adoption of AI tools in the public domain, today and tomorrow.
The event will take place on Friday 7th November 2025, Y7-Period 1, and Y8-Period 2.
