Olympus Attendance Awareness Month - November 2025
During November we are talking about all things to do with attendance!
One day off school could be as many as six missed lessons, as well as time spent with friends and doing extracurricular activities- that’s a lot to catch up on!
You are our essential partners in promoting good attendance because you have the bottom-line responsibility for making sure your child gets to school every day. Just as parents focus on how their children are performing academically, you also have such an important role in setting expectations for good attendance and monitoring your child’s absences, so that missed days don’t add up to academic trouble.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help with anything that feels like it prevents your child from coming to school.
The following people can help:
Your child’s tutor
Your child's Head of Year/Raising Standards Lead
Mrs Jane Knight - Attendance Admin
Mr Andrew Poole - Attendance Lead
