Fantastic A Level Results!

Abbeywood’s Post 16 students have once again achieved some very positive A’ level results which saw the average grade per entry increase by a  whole grade.  14% of grades were A* or A, and 32% of students achieved A*-B grades in A’ level subjects.  There were some fantastic achievements in Vocational Subjects where 88% of students achieved the highest grades of Distinction and Distinction*.  All these achievements are testament to the hard work of the students, but also from the support of staff as well.  There were a number of outstanding individual performances (which you can find below), and we are very proud to say that nearly all students at Abbeywood secured places at their first choice University, or on Apprenticeships.

 Andras Varady  - 3A* (Maths, Further Maths and Physics ) and one B (Computing)  

Thaminah Chowdhury - 1 A in Psychology and 2 Distinction * in Health & Social Care and Applied Science

Alex Higgins - A* in Culture and Communication, an A in Psychology and a B in Sociology

Kyle Ivers has 3 D* in Business, Applied Science and Sport BTEC

Bryony Constance - A* English Literature, B in English Language and a B in Culture and Communication.

Charlotte Davidge - A* English Literature , B in Sociology
