Cancellation of the Year 6 Transition Day

It is with sadness that we have taken the decision to cancel the Year 6 Transition event planned at Abbeywood Community School on Wednesday this week (16 June). This decision has been taken as a precautionary measure and following advice from the Public Health Authority due to the small, but significant, rise in Covid-19 cases in the community.

At this stage the additional Transition Day, scheduled to take place on Friday 2 July remains in place. We will also look to put a second Transition day into the diary, to take place after 2 July to ensure that our incoming Year 6 students get all the support they need in starting at Abbeywood Community School. We will confirm this new date with you as soon as we have details.
