Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8)
Students in Year 7 and 8 study a wide breadth of subjects in Key Stage 3. With access to first class learning facilities, students will use their first 2 years of secondary school to build and expand upon their Key Stage 2 learning. Students will experience challenging learning opportunities underpinned by the school’s RAISE competencies.
In order to prepare our students for the demands of GCSE exams, students will be given assessments that are closely mapped against GCSE objectives. Feedback from these assessments will be used to plan lessons and tasks set through Arbor. Independent Home Learning will be set regularly in order to enhance class room learning and to help develop a culture of independence in our Key Stage 3 students.
The Curriculum is organised as follows;
Number of lessons per fortnight
