PE Independent Home Learning Policy

 

Y10 BTEC Sport Summer Independent Home Learning Task

 

Year 10 PE - GCSE

Students will be studying about individual differences in Sport. This includes age, gender and disability. Students will be set exam styled questions related to these topics.

 

Year 11 PE  - GCSE

Coursework - They have to describe their own strengths and weaknesses in a sport that they will be assessed in.  Following on from this the pupils will then be analysing their weakness and using prior topics to come up with a programme to improve their weaknesses and performance in their sport.

Schools and the National Healthy School Programme

Pupils will be researching around Abbeywood school and on the internet to find out if the school is in line with the government's current healthy schools programme.

Year 10  - BTEC PE

Students are studying Practical sport. Coursework this term will involve examining the rules and regulations of different sports.

Year 11- BTEC PE

Coursework - Fitness and Fitness Training

Students have to explain how psychological factors affect performance and training. This includes motivation, personality, anxiety and concentration.
